I’ve always had a passion for exploring the world and immersing myself in different cultures. After growing up in South Sydney, I knew there was a whole world out there to discover, and so began my journey. What started as a year living in Italy quickly turned into a lifelong love for travel, adventure, and learning. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to visit some of the most iconic cities across the globe, from London and New York to Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro, and everywhere in between.

In my early days of travel, I backpacked on a budget, learning to navigate new countries and cultures with a sense of curiosity and determination. My travels took me to places like Lima, Buenos Aires, and La Paz, where I experienced the vibrancy of local life, all while being mindful of my budget. One of my favourite highlights from this time was visiting the breathtaking Uyuni salt flats in Bolivia, a place that truly felt like stepping onto another planet.

In between adventures, I spent time working in London, taking on contract jobs to fund my travels and gain experience in the financial industry. It was in London that I began to explore the intricacies of urban planning, particularly around the challenges of parking in bustling cities. This experience would eventually lead me to launch Parking Made Easy, as I recognised the universal need for better parking solutions across the world.

I also took the opportunity to study in Beijing, where I immersed myself in the local culture and took my first steps in learning Chinese Mandarin. While I’m still a beginner, I’ve enjoyed the challenge of learning a new language. It’s also complemented my fluency in Italian and conversational Spanish, which have been incredibly useful in my travels through Europe and South America.

Of course, no travel experience would be complete without food! From trying acai berries in Florianopolis to indulging in empanadas in Buenos Aires, food has always been an essential part of my cultural explorations. The flavours and traditions behind each dish have offered me a window into the heart of every place I visit.

Some of my fondest memories include the hustle and bustle of Times Square in New York, the ancient grandeur of the Colosseum in Rome, and the beauty of the arts and culture that exist in every corner of the world. Whether it’s wandering the streets of Paris or marvelling at the architecture in Berlin, I’ve always been drawn to places where history and culture intertwine.

Through my travels, I’ve come to appreciate the diversity and richness that exists in every culture. It’s been a journey that continues to inspire my work, my passions, and my everyday life.
